CALL FOR PITCHES

Pitch ESPN - 30 for 30 at On Air 2026

Come pitch your sports stories to 30 for 30 Podcasts in person on February 25 & 26. A pitch from On Air Fest last year is currently in production!

Do you have a sports story to tell? ESPN wants to hear from YOU. The 30 for 30 Creator Lounge is open both Wed Feb 25 and Thu Feb 26. Only festival ticket holders can register to confirm a pitch meeting.

Pitch a show to top-level ESPN executives with the chance to have it picked up for podcast production.  In addition to traditional sports stories, 30 for 30 Podcasts is open to narratives that go beyond the field to explore how sports, competition, athleticism, and adventure affect our lives and our world.

Successful pitches will be:  A focused story with sports as a setting to explore off-the-field themes (cultural, racial, or societal). A clear narrative structure with a protagonist and antagonist. If possible, it is ideal to have a wealth of archival audio available. We want compelling characters who will sit for an interview and can share their perspective or untold side of the story.

Want an idea of what we love? Check out our shows Pink Card, The Sterling Affairs, or Murder at The U.

Still have questions? Join a virtual AMA office hour with Preeti Varathan, Head of 30 for 30 Podcasts to learn more on Monday, Feb 9, 11:30am-12:30pm EST - RSVP here.
