On Air Fest turns 10 in 2027 — and we want your voice in the room for it! 

For nearly a decade, On Air Presents has built a home for creative audio and storytelling in all its forms. We spotlight the artists, storytellers, and organizations pushing culture forward. And our stage has always belonged to people breaking form and reimagining what storytelling can be. 

Past editions have brought immersive podcast performances, sound-driven art installations, and conversations with the creators of culture-shaping shows. 

This year, that could be you.

What We’re Looking For

Pitch us your session, experience, performance, installation, or idea.

On Air Fest 2027 spans multiple stages, a screening and listening room, and performance spaces for music and sound art. We’re about live experience and real connections. Bring us curiosity, surprise, and work that doesn’t look like anything else on the program. Or the planet!

Here are a few formats to consider, but not be bound to:

• Panels & Presentations: Launch your latest project, host a deep conversation, or push the edge of what a panel chat can be. Thought leadership,futurist media theory, brand case studies, ‘how I made this’ explainers – if you have something to say to inspire your peers, come say it.
• Workshops & Demos: Hands-on, expertise-forward, future-facing. Show us what's next. 
• Performances, Stories & Ideas: Tell a story, pitch a big idea, or hold the room. Short or long, on stage or on the street.
• Installations & Experiences: Immersive, cross-platform work that invites people to engage differently.
• Screenings and Deep Listenings: Slow it down. Create space for reflection through attentive, collective engagement.
• Live Podcasts: Capture the charge of a live recording that still resonates once the room empties out.
• Music, poetry, design, art and the indefinable: Surprise us! We want big ideas and hard-to-categorize work that changes how someone thinks about listening.

Tell us about your idea. Whether you’re an independent creator or part of a larger team, we want to understand how your work comes alive in front of an audience.

This is a pitch, not a form to fill out. Tell us your idea and the story behind it. What inspired it, how it connects to sound, image, or experience, and why it belongs at On Air Fest for a start. We’re looking for originality, clarity, and a sense of your work.

We review proposals on a rolling basis until October 30. Selected participants will be invited to present live at On Air Brooklyn 2027, February 23–25 in Williamsburg.
